Oliver Whiskers

In the foggy backstreets of Victorian London, a timid stray kitten named Oliver Whiskers dreams of a home and a hearth. Born in the shadows and raised on scraps, Oliver’s world is one of survival, danger, and the constant search for kindness in a city that offers little to the forgotten.

His journey begins when he stumbles into the path of the Alley Cat Gang, led by the charismatic trickster Dodger. The gang lives by their wits, stealing scraps and dodging danger, but survival has hardened them. Oliver is drawn to their sense of family and belonging, yet he struggles with the ruthless lessons of life on the streets.

The gang answers to Old Fagin, a sly, scruffy tomcat who hoards treasures while sending his young strays to do the dirty work. Under Fagin’s rule, Oliver learns the rules of cunning and survival — but also faces the cruel threat of Bill Sikes, a brutal alley enforcer who prowls London’s shadows with claws out and no mercy for weakness.

Along the way, Oliver finds unexpected kindness in Nancy, a streetwise but warm-hearted cat who sees the hope and innocence in him. Her protection offers a glimpse of the love and safety he has been searching for. When Oliver’s path crosses with the gentle Mr. Brownlow, a kind human who offers him food and warmth, he finally discovers the possibility of home.

But danger still lurks. Torn between loyalty to his new gang, fear of Sikes, and the chance for a new life, Oliver must fight for survival and for the family he longs to belong to. Through trials of hunger, betrayal, and courage, he discovers that even the smallest kitten can change his fate.

Oliver Whiskers is a tale of survival and hope — a reimagining of Dickens’ Oliver Twist, told through the eyes of London’s street cats. Filled with fog-drenched alleys, daring escapades, and heartfelt songs, it is both a celebration of resilience and a reminder that every stray deserves a place to call home.
